The Book | Ponce City Market

It's finally here...After years in the making, an advance copy of my first book arrived on Friday. Back in 2010 I visualized this very book, and now it has arrived and I couldn't be happier.  The folks at Schiffer Publishing have been tremendous throughout this process, and I'm very pleased with the result. I'm told the bulk of the copies are still 6-8 weeks out from release, but I'll be sharing updates as I get them.

National Geographic Learning Book Cover

Just received a copy of my most recent cover. It is for a Spanish learning guide called Caminatas. Here is the description of the book from Amazon:
  "Caminatas uses the dazzling footage and photography for which the National Geographic brand is known to present the Spanish-speaking world in a new way. The National Geographic Learning Video Manual serves as a useful supplement to viewing video in any Spanish language course: with coverage that spans Latin America, the United States and Spain, the manual can integrate with any language course, driving student engagement with high-quality visuals and additional practice." They were very generous with my image, putting it on the cover, as well as 3 pages inside! The photo was taken on Thanksgiving Day, 2011 while sitting on the terraces of Machu Picchu in Peru. Travel+Leisure Contest Winner

I received the news that a photo of mine from Peru was selected as the winner of Travel+Leisure Magazine's monthly photo contest, for the category "City." The prize is a Fuji Instax camera, publication in the magazine next month, and a chance to win the Grand Prize...a 7 day trip to South Korea in 2013. Here is the Post with the original photo.

Thrilled that today I am featured on Urbanautica, a premier photography website dedicated to contemporary landscape photography. This is part of an ongoing project of mine which involves documenting the evolution of the southeast's largest building, City Hall East, into a premier mixed-use development called Ponce City Market.
